Aurora is seeking a Class A Driver based in Laredo, TX for a 6-month assignment with potential to extend. You will pilot autonomous semi trucks on road and in closed-course testing, support engineers with real-time feedback, and help ensure safety and compliance across Aurora’s pilot operations.

This role requires a valid U.S. CDL, interstate Class-A, MVR pass, strong communication, and willingness to travel up to 50%. Night and rotating shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience driving trucks commercially.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License and interstate Class-A CDL.
• Driving record must pass MVR guidelines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel up to 50% and work night/rotating shifts.
• Must pass DOT and FMCSA requirements.

Responsabilités

• Safely pilot autonomous semi trucks for on road and closed course testing.
• Monitor driver during autonomy and log feedback for engineers.
• Escalate blockers and suggest solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Aurora.
• Maintain required certifications and status in partner applications.
• Interact with the public as an Aurora ambassador.
