Job summary

Freeport-McMoRan Inc. in Arizona is seeking an experienced IT technician to provide advanced support for mine operations technologies. You will install and maintain onboard IT hardware for fleet management, safety, and operational systems.

You will troubleshoot to minimize downtime, support wireless networking and data communications, and mentor peers on network projects. A strong customer-service mindset and the ability to work non-standard hours are essential.

Qualifications

• 4 years in computer/electronic systems hardware/software troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair.
• OR 6 years of experience in computer/electronic systems hardware/software troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair.
• Customer service orientation and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, rotating shifts, and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain onboard IT hardware for fleet management, safety, and operational systems.
