Job summary

Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide functional rehabilitation in home, school, work, and community settings in North Carolina. You will deliver evaluations, develop and adapt treatment plans, and coordinate with families and treatment teams to promote real-life communication and swallowing improvements.

You will work autonomously within a collaborative therapy team, with a flexible schedule and hourly compensation, plus travel

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Valid Speech Language Pathology license in the state(s) of practice.
• Current CPR certification as required by state regulations.
• Minimum of one year’s work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to neurological injury preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
• Regularly reassess effectiveness of treatment plans and participate in staffing meetings and family conferences.
• Perform discharge evaluations and provide home and community safety recommendations and education resources.
• Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, patient and family members.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure coordinated care and better outcomes.
