Job summary

Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation in Murfreesboro, TN seeks a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver functional rehab in home and community settings, extending beyond traditional clinics.

You will assess and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive and swallowing disorders, using autonomous practice within a collaborative therapy team, with per-hour pay and travel reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program.
• Valid Speech Language Pathology license in the state(s) of practice.
• Current CPR Certification in accordance with state regulations.
• Minimum of one year’s work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury preferred.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and transfer patients as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans for speech, language, cognitive and swallowing disorders.
• Regularly reassess effectiveness of treatment plans and participate in staffing meetings and family conferences.
• Perform discharge evaluations and provide home/community safety recommendations.
• Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, patient and family.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to coordinate care and improve outcomes.
