Qualifications

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience.
• Proficiency in C/C++ with memory management and deterministic execution for embedded devices.
• Experience with Linux-based development environments and cross-compilation toolchains.
• Experience with Python for test automation or tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize flight software for Star Tracker systems across low-level drivers and high-level autonomous behaviors.
• Architect fault-tolerant, redundant software that maintains uptime across satellite constellations.
• Build and maintain test, validation, and simulation infrastructure including HWIL and SITL.
• Own end-to-end lifecycle of embedded software delivery from requirements through maintenance.
• Collaborate with hardware, systems, and operations to deploy high-speed optical comms hardware/software.
• Develop autonomous operational behaviors for satellite recovery and adaptation to anomalies.
• Improve OTA deployment processes to safely deliver updates to hundreds of satellites.
