Job summary

Avride is expanding its autonomous delivery robot program and seeks a hands-on Robot Service Technician to assemble, maintain, and repair robots on-site in Lexington, KY. The role covers mechanical and electrical assembly, sensor integration, and field support to ensure reliable robot operations in real-world environments.

You will travel to local sites, perform routine maintenance, diagnose failures, and participate in rapid prototyping and hardware validation to advance autonomous delivery

Qualifications

• Experience using mechanical and electrical tools.
• Experience assembling and disassembling electrical and electromechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret 2D mechanical drawings and technical documentation.
• Experience installing and integrating custom electronic modules.
• Understanding of AC/DC electrical systems and safe working practices.

Responsibilities

• Assemble wiring harnesses, cables, and connectors for autonomous delivery robots.
• Install, configure, and replace sensors including LiDAR, cameras, and ultrasonic sensors.
• Perform mechanical and electrical assembly of robot components and subsystems.
• Follow technical documentation, schematics, and assembly procedures to ensure quality standards.
