Job summary

Avride, a U.S.-based autonomous vehicle startup, seeks a hands-on Robot Service Technician for assembly, maintenance, troubleshooting, and field operation of autonomous delivery robots in the Fort Lauderdale area. You will work with LiDAR sensors, cameras, and automotive electrical systems to keep fleets performing in real-world deployments.

The role is full-time with a PM shift and 4-day workweek, onsite at local sites in Florida, with travel to deployments as needed.

Qualifications

Experience using mechanical and electrical tools.
Ability to read 2D mechanical drawings and technical documentation.
Experience assembling and disassembling electrical and electromechanical systems.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Comfortable working both in a workshop and in the field.

Responsibilities

Assemble wiring harnesses, cables, and connectors for autonomous delivery robots.
Install, configure, and replace sensors including LiDAR, cameras, and ultrasonic sensors.
Perform mechanical and electrical assembly of robot components and subsystems.
Follow technical documentation, schematics, and assembly procedures to ensure quality standards.
Travel between local sites to provide onsite technical support as needed.
