Job summary

Avride seeks a hands-on Robot Service Technician to support the deployment of autonomous delivery robots in Arlington. You will be responsible for the assembly, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and field operation of our robots in real-world environments.

This role combines mechanical and electrical work, requires reading 2D drawings, and close collaboration with the team to advance cutting-edge robotics technology.

Qualifications

• Experience using mechanical and electrical tools and measuring equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret 2D mechanical drawings and technical documentation.
• Experience assembling and disassembling electrical and electromechanical systems.
• Comfortable with field work, travel between local sites, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assemble wiring harnesses, cables, and connectors for autonomous delivery robots.
• Install, configure, and replace sensors including LiDAR, cameras, and ultrasonic sensors.
• Perform mechanical and electrical assembly of robot components and subsystems.
• Diagnose failures, perform preventive maintenance, and execute repair campaigns.
• Travel between local sites to provide onsite technical support and field operations.
