Job summary

BELFOR is seeking an Intermediate Carpenter to provide on-site reconstruction support. The role requires extensive carpentry experience and the ability to work with little supervision, while assisting BELFOR Estimators with scope development and running projects autonomously.

Responsibilities include identifying potential problems, protecting contents, constructing containment for dust, and performing tasks such as flood-cutting, salvaging and trimming.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising unskilled labor in residential settings.
• Ability to perform emergency services such as board ups.
• Maintain equipment used in daily tasks.
• Willingness to travel and work nights/weekends as required.
• Strong customer service principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Recognize potential problems and request guidance when needed.
• Move and protect contents without damage.
• Construct containment for dust, dirt and contaminants.
• Perform floodcutting, salvaging and labeling baseboards, cabinets and doors.
• Attend shrink wrap training and complete projects.
• Apply carpentry knowledge to Trim, Doors, Cabinetry and Siding tasks.
• Report time worked and materials used timely and accurately.
