Job summary

BELFOR is seeking an Intermediate Carpenter to support reconstruction efforts with extensive carpentry responsibilities. The role involves working with BELFOR Estimators on scope development and autonomously running projects across residential, commercial, and multi-family settings.

Ideal candidates will have strong carpentry skills in framing, cabinetry, trim, and related tasks, plus the ability to coordinate teams and maintain safety standards on site.

Qualifications

• Extensive carpentry experience in residential, commercial, or multi-family projects.
• Ability to read project scope with BELFOR estimators and work autonomously.
• Supervise unskilled labor and coordinate with subcontractors when needed.

Responsibilities

• Recognize potential problems with the project and request guidance as needed.
• Answer questions about the project and direct complex queries to the right resource.
• Move and protect contents without damage.
• Construct containment for dust, dirt and contaminants.
