Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional Java experience.
• 2+ years of front-end development with JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with React or Angular frameworks.
• Experience with relational databases (MSSQL, PostgreSQL).
• Experience in a multi-contributor environment using GitHub Flow.
• Experience with message-driven publish-subscribe systems (NATS, Redis).
• Ability to quickly understand an existing system and implement improvements.
• Willing to travel up to 25%.
• Authorized to work permanently in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve a Java-based application (Spring).
• Design and implement back-end capabilities with database interactions and messaging workflows.
• Carry features through full front-end implementation (React).
• Learn the system architecture, identify improvements, and implement changes.
• Collaborate with developers using GitHub Flow.
• Troubleshoot defects and support production systems, ensuring reliability.
• Support in-house analytical tools (Python & React) for manufacturing.
• Leverage LLM tools to accelerate workflow in a sustainable, maintainable way.
