Job summary

The Select Group is seeking a Full Stack Developer to join our growing technology team. You will work across front-end and back-end technologies to modernize an enterprise eCommerce platform and drive a long-term transformation from a monolithic architecture to a scalable microservices-based environment.

You will design, build, test, and maintain full stack applications using JavaScript, React, Java, and Spring Boot, while integrating with PostgreSQL and MongoDB and contributing to Azure cloud

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of full stack development experience.
• Strong expertise in JavaScript and React.
• Strong back-end development experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to take ownership of projects and deliver high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain full stack web applications.
• Build responsive user interfaces using JavaScript and React.
• Translate UX/UI designs from Figma into reusable React components while collaborating closely with the UX design team.
• Develop and enhance back-end services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Design and maintain APIs and integrate with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Support enhancements to an existing eCommerce platform while contributing to future platform modernization initiatives.
• Participate in cloud migration efforts and application deployments using Microsoft Azure (or comparable cloud platforms).
• Contribute to architectural discussions around transitioning from a monolithic application to a microservices architecture.
• Troubleshoot production issues and recommend scalable, maintainable solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, UX, QA, and Architecture throughout the software development lifecycle.

Must Have Skills

• Minimum 3 years of full stack development experience.
• Strong expertise in JavaScript and React.
• Strong back-end development experience with Java and Spring Boot..

• Experience working with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure (experience with AWS or Google Cloud is also acceptable).

• Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
• Experience developing or supporting eCommerce applications.
• Understanding of the end-to-end customer journey within digital commerce.
• Experience working with both monolithic and microservices architectures.
• Experience participating in application modernization or cloud migration initiatives

Day to Day
