Job summary

Koch Companies is seeking an Autonomous Operations - Full-Stack Developer to support an AGV software platform. The role blends backend Java development with frontend React work, focusing on end-to-end solutions for traffic management, SAP/EWM communication, and warehouse/inventory systems.

You will join a collaborative team in a hybrid role based in Atlanta, with travel up to 25% to facilities across the US. Strong backend design, frontend delivery, and DevOps experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional Java experience.
• Experience with React or Angular frameworks.
• Experience with relational databases (MS SQL, PostgreSQL).
• Experience in a multi-contributor environment using GitHub Flow.
• Experience with message-driven publish-subscribe systems (NATS, Redis).
• Ability to understand and improve an existing system end-to-end.
• Self-directed, ownership-oriented work style.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve a Java-based application using Spring Framework.
• Design and implement back-end capabilities with database interactions and pub-sub workflows.
• Carry features through complete front-end implementation (React).
• Learn current system architecture and propose practical improvements.
• Collaborate with developers using GitHub Flow and troubleshoot defects.
• Support existing in-house analytical toolset (Python & React) in discrete manufacturing.
• Utilize LLM tools to accelerate workflow in a sustainable, maintainable way.
