Job summary

UCSF Health is seeking an autonomous Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join the ambulatory Cancer Center Infusion team. The Infusion APP will oversee care for 50-75 patients daily across five infusion centers, including triage of real-time issues and collaboration with physicians, surgeons, APPs, and staff to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a California Board of Registered Nursing approved or verified school of nursing with a master’s degree in nursing or a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP).
• Two (2) years of clinical experience as a nurse practitioner in the same specialty and setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee care of 50-75 patients per day across five infusion centers, treating oncology and non-oncology patients.
• Triage real-time issues and collaborate with physicians, APPs and staff to ensure continuity of care and timely treatment.
• Manage a three-bed Cancer Center Acute Care (CACC) unit to provide higher-acuity oncology care and prevent emergency visits and admissions.
