Job summary

Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation in Lewiston, ME is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) specialized in neuro home and community care. You will deliver true one-on-one neuro rehab in home and community settings, shaping outcomes by direct patient interaction and customized treatment plans.

The role offers flexible scheduling, clinical autonomy, and a focus on meaningful functional recovery with local coverage and travel considerations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the practicing state.
• Current Basic Life Support / CPR certification per state regulations.
• Minimum of one year of PT work experience preferred.
• Demonstrates knowledge of neurorehabilitation techniques.
• Communicates effectively in verbal and written interactions.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds; patient handling up to 100 pounds with safety.
• Physical requirements include lifting, bending, standing for extended periods; other activities listed.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans
• Regularly re-assess effectiveness of treatment plans, attend staffing meetings and family conferences
• Perform discharge evaluations, recommend home and community safety resources
• Communicate patient's needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, patient and family
• Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure coordination of care and patient outcomes
