Job summary

Asarco Llc seeks an AHS Control Room Supervisor to lead the safe, efficient operation of the autonomous haulage system and MineStar Command for Hauling. You will coordinate Controllers, Builders, and support staff to execute the daily plan while maintaining safety and reliability across the AOZ.

You will collaborate with Mine Operations, Maintenance, Safety, and IT/OT teams to manage events, deviations, and continuous improvements in a 24/7 mining environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical diploma or university degree in Mining, Engineering, Operations Management, Autonomous Systems, or related discipline preferred.
• Five+ years in open-pit mining, mine control, dispatch, or autonomous haulage operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Control Room team to execute the daily mine and maintenance plan safely and efficiently.
• Establish shift priorities and assign responsibilities to Command Controllers and Builders.
• Oversee MineStar Command for Hauling and ensure the AOZ virtual mine reflects real conditions.
