Job summary

Solidus Resources LLC, a U.S.-based gold development company, is seeking a Command Builder for the Lovelock, NV mine. You will implement the mine model in CAT MineStar Command for Hauling and support controllers and pit technicians.

This role ensures the virtual road network mirrors the on-ground network, prepares dynamic mining areas for autonomous operation, and troubleshoots issues as they arise to maximize productivity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; higher degrees are asset.
• 3+ years in open-pit mining or autonomous operations.
• Experience with fleet-management systems such as CAT MineStar or Modular.
• Strong spatial and survey literacy; able to read design and GNSS control.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain safety culture.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, functional mine model reflecting current field conditions.
• Build and validate zones, lock areas, waypoints and surfaces.
• Conduct model audits and clean up legacy logic at shift start.
• Keep mine model up to date for new areas and prospective mining zones.
• Ensure virtual road network mirrors the physical road network.
• Tune zones and assignments for tool movements, dumps and weather.
• Apply speed, traction and Narrow Area Planning logic as needed.
• Manage onboard files and zone-based configuration updates.
• Support Controllers with troubleshooting and escalate unresolved issues.
• Maximize equipment productivity per 24-hour mine/maintenance plan.
