Job summary

Caterpillar is seeking a MineStar Application Specialist to support and maintain autonomous haul truck systems at the mine site in Northern Nevada. You will work directly with customers, deliver on-site solutions, and collaborate with engineering to implement improvements.

The role features a 7x7 day/night shift, relocation assistance, and exposure to global MineStar Command operations across continents. You will build strong field relationships, troubleshoot hardware and software, and help

Qualifications

Experience with mining technology and best practices.
Strong troubleshooting and field support experience.
Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and customers.
Analytical mindset with data-driven approach (Power BI or similar).

Responsibilities

Implement MineStar Command and optimize system performance.
Build trusted relationships with customers through collaboration.
Advise MineStar Command Office Supervisors, Builders, Controllers, and Pit Technicians on system performance.
Assist with hardware and software installation and configuration, including QA/QC processes.
Measure, benchmark, and report on system performance, identifying opportunities for improvement.
Create training materials and process documentation for ongoing learning.
Execute continuous improvement projects to optimize production and efficiency.
