Job summary

Komatsu Mining Corp. seeks a Superintendent – Autonomous Haulage Systems (AHS) to lead field deployment, troubleshooting, and sustainment of autonomous haulage technologies across mining sites in the region.

You will coordinate field teams, mentor technicians, and ensure safety, quality, and reliable system performance. The role requires hands-on leadership, experience with fleet management or autonomous systems, and strong collaboration with Project Managers, engineers, and customers to deliver

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical diploma in engineering, technology, or related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in mining, heavy equipment, or related technical field.
• Experience supporting autonomous systems, fleet management, or advanced mining technologies preferred.
• Experience coordinating or leading field-based work teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical support for AHS operations and fleet software.
• Coordinate field activities and guide technicians to ensure efficient work.
• Assist deployment, commissioning, and sustainment of autonomous haulage systems.
• Maintain uptime and resolve technical or operational issues.
• Engage with customers to ensure service aligns with safety and quality standards.
• Deliver training and mentorship to technicians on AHS systems.
• Promote safety compliance and document field activities.
