Job summary

Komatsu Mining Corp. is seeking an Autonomous Haulage Systems (AHS) Implementation Project Manager in Tucson, AZ, to guide regional teams and distributors through the deployment of mining automation technology.

You will ensure customers understand and execute the full activities needed for successful autonomous adoption and contribute to improving documentation for the program. You will lead project governance, coordinate multiple international teams, and drive standardization through the PDCA

Qualifications

Requires 5+ years of customer-facing project management experience.
Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills in multicultural environments.
Ability to manage multiple projects in parallel.
Ability to influence business partners effectively.
Strong problem-solving skills and independence.
Understanding of mining and mining equipment industries.
Willingness to travel ~25% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

Enable Komatsu Distributors: SME for autonomous systems implementations; liaison between regional teams and Tucson-based Autonomous Systems team.
Advocate for project management discipline, governance and change management.
Convey a holistic view on implementation projects across regions.
Drive adoption of the AHS program and support global standardization via PDCA.
Track project progress globally with regional project teams via regular follow-ups.
Project scopes vary from <2 months upgrades to >18 months first-time implementations; periodic travel/time-zone considerations.
