Job summary

Gatik, the leader in autonomous middle-mile logistics, is seeking a Fleet Operations Manager to bridge hardware engineering, depot dispatch, and local maintenance. You will oversee fleet readiness, compliance, and cost-efficient operations for commercial routes in Phoenix, AZ and Fort Worth, TX.

You will manage third-party maintenance, leverage telematics data, and drive KPI reporting while ensuring safety and DOT/FMCSA compliance across the fleet. This onsite role reports to the Sr.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in commercial fleet operations or related field.
• Experience managing external maintenance vendors under SLAs.
• Knowledge of FMCSA/DOT regulations and upfits.
• Experience extracting and analyzing vehicle data and reporting KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Fleet Readiness & Scheduling: maximize vehicle availability and maintenance planning for routes.
• Dual-Layer Fleet Health & Compliance: manage maintenance, upfits, and ADS hardware health with safety standards.
• Vendor Governance & SLA Enforcement: oversee third-party shops and warranty recovery with root-cause analysis.
• Telemetry Analytics & Cost Control: use telematics to reduce cost-per-mile and report KPIs.
