Job summary

Amerit Fleet Solutions is seeking an Autonomous Vehicle Fleet Manager in San Francisco, CA. The role leads a team of service technicians, delivering an exceptional client experience while handling HR responsibilities tied to team management.

Responsibilities include fleet workload management, performance coaching, data-driven KPI tracking, and cross-functional collaboration, with emphasis on safety and continuous improvement in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with Electric Vehicles and/or Autonomous Vehicles.
• Proven ability to build and lead a strong team in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence, persuade, and drive action.
• Customer-focused mindset balancing the needs of Amerit and the customer for optimal service delivery.
• Ability to interpret data and drive KPIs to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends when required.

Responsibilities

• Team Management & HR: hire, performance management, scheduling and development.
• Technician Development and coaching to improve skills and safety.
• Workload Management and dispatch to minimize vehicle downtime.
• Problem-Solving & Issue Resolution to keep vehicles in service.
• Process & Inventory Management and on-time parts procurement.
• Billability & P&L responsibility for technician utilization targets.
• Repair Order management: scheduling, completion, and closure.
• Executive presence: escalation handling and client communications.
• Cross-Functional Leadership & Collaboration with HR, Finance, Procurement and stakeholders.
