Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering.
• 5–10 years in automotive warranty analysis or failure analysis.
• Strong reading of drawings, GD&T, tolerances, and validation reports.
• Proficient documentation and analytics using warranty databases.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed warranty part analysis and failure investigations.
• Conduct root cause analysis using 8D, Fishbone, 5 Why, FMEA, fault trees.
• Analyze failed components across powertrain and vehicle subsystems.
• Support disposition through teardown, scrap/rework decisions and containment.
• Collaborate with design, supplier quality, manufacturing, and service teams.
