Job summary

Ourcompany in Hagerstown, MD is seeking an Automotive Warranty Claims Specialist to review warranty paperwork, verify documentation, and ensure proper criteria are met for factory or distributor claims.

You will reconcile warranty receivables, stay up to date with recalls, and maintain service and customer records while delivering strong customer service and accurate data entry. Competitive benefits and experience-based compensation offered.

Qualifications

• Technical knowledge of vehicle service to verify proper documentation of repairs for warranty coverage and payment.
• Experience preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills a must.
• Must have computer proficiency.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must be willing to submit to background check, driving record & drug test.
• Compensation is based on experience and is competitive with the retail automotive industry.

Responsibilities

• Review all warranty paperwork to ensure proper documentation and verifying criteria required by factory or distributor.
• Keep abreast of all factory recalls and announcements.
• Reconciling all warranty receivables and working with the accounting department to obtain payments.
• Maintain all service and customer records as required by the warrantor.
• Utilize technical knowledge of vehicle service to verify proper documentation of repairs for warranty coverage and payment.
• Process and post all service warranty RO's.
