Job summary

River Oaks Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM is seeking an Automotive Warranty Clerk to process, submit, and track manufacturer warranty claims. The role requires a high school diploma and preferred CDK experience, with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities include preparing and following up on warranty claims, ensuring proper documentation, and coordinating with the accounting department for payments. No relocation offered.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, submits, and follows up on warranty claims.
• Processes warranty paperwork with proper documentation and criteria from factory/distributor.
• Keeps track of recall notices and factory announcements.
• Arranges parts shipments to factory/distributor and resubmits rejected claims.
• Assists with body shop warranty claims and follows up on outstanding claims.
• Reconciles warranty receivables and coordinates with accounting for payments.
• Maintains warranty parts records with repair order numbers and dates.
• Keeps service and customer records required by the warrantor.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepares, submits, and follows up on warranty claims
• Processes all warranty paperwork, ensuring proper documentation and verifies criteria required by factory or distributor
• Keeps abreast of all factory recalls and announcements
• Arranges for parts to be shipped to the factory or distributor and resubmits all rejected claims promptly
• Assists with body shop warranty claims and follows up on outstanding claims
• Reconciles all warranty receivables and works with the accounting department to obtain payments
• Keeps track of all warranty parts by noting the repair order number, date of replacement and date on which part may be disposed
• Maintains all service and customer records as required by the warrantor
• Other duties as assigned by management

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous Automotive Warranty Administrative experience preferred.
• CDK experience highly desirable.
• Must be detail oriented and have strong organizational ability
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen in accordance with local law/regulations
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy
