Job summary

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is seeking an Automotive Warranty Clerk to join our team at River Oaks Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM. The successful candidate will manage warranty claims processing, submission, and tracking to ensure timely resolution.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, automotive warranty administration experience preferred, and strong attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous automotive warranty administrative experience preferred.
• CDK experience highly desirable.
• Must be detail oriented and have strong organizational ability.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, submits, and follows up on warranty claims.
• Processes all warranty paperwork, ensuring proper documentation and verifies criteria required by factory or distributor.
• Keeps abreast of all factory recalls and announcements.
• Arranges for parts to be shipped to the factory or distributor and resubmits all rejected claims promptly.
• Assists with body shop warranty claims and follows up on outstanding claims.
• Reconciles all warranty receivables and works with the accounting department to obtain payments.
• Keeps track of all warranty parts by noting the repair order number, date of replacement and date on which part may be disposed.
• Maintains all service and customer records as required by the warrantor.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is looking for our next Automotive Warranty Clerk located at River Oaks Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM, the Automotive Warranty Clerk isresponsible for processing, submitting, and tracking manufacturer warranty claims.

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• CDK experience highly desirable.

• Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen in accordance with local law/regulations
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy
