Job summary

Napleton Automotive Group is seeking an Automotive Warranty Clerk for River Oaks Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM to manage warranty claims processing, submission, and tracking. The role supports factory paperwork accuracy and timely follow-up on all claims.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, prior warranty admin experience, and attention to detail. CDK experience is highly desirable; background checks and drug screening are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous Automotive Warranty Administrative experience preferred.
• CDK experience highly desirable.
• Must be detail oriented and have strong organizational ability
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen in accordance with local law/regulations
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy

Responsibilities

• Prepares, submits, and follows up on warranty claims
• Processes all warranty paperwork, ensuring proper documentation and verifies criteria required by factory or distributor
• Keeps abreast of all factory recalls and announcements
• Arranges for parts to be shipped to the factory or distributor and resubmits all rejected claims promptly
• Assists with body shop warranty claims and follows up on outstanding claims
• Reconciles all warranty receivables and works with the accounting department to obtain payments
• Keeps track of all warranty parts by noting the repair order number, date of replacement and date on which part may be disposed
• Maintains all service and customer records as required by the warrantor
• Other duties as assigned by management
