Job summary

O'Meara Ford is seeking a detail-oriented Title Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate has automotive experience, strong customer service skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Experience with Vitu title and registration processing is a plus. The Title Clerk will prepare and process title work for sold vehicles, handle payoffs, maintain inventory title records, and ensure all tax, title, and registration documents are accurate and complete.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Automotive experience preferred.
• Experience with Vitu or other electronic title/registration systems is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process title and registration paperwork for sold vehicles.
• Submit documents to state agencies or DMV.
• Process payoffs for transactions.
• Maintain inventory title records and MSOs.
• Verify documents for accuracy and signatures.
• Maintain organized vehicle titles and related records.
• Enter used vehicle purchases into inventory.
• Submit bills of sale, contracts, warranties, and other documents to agencies.
• Track title/registration paperwork to resolve items timely.
• Use Vitu and dealership systems to support processing.
• Communicate with staff, customers, and outside agencies to resolve issues.
