Job summary

Ourisman Automotive Group is seeking a detail-oriented Tag and Title Clerk to manage title and registration documents across the dealership’s sales and service operations.

You will prepare title transfers, lien releases, and registrations, ensuring accuracy and timely submission while coordinating with sales, finance, and state agencies. The role requires strong organizational skills and great communication with customers and teams.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Tag and Title Clerk or related administrative role preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Familiarity with title/registration processes and state regulations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with customers and teams.
• Proficiency with dealership software and office tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process vehicle title documents, including transfers, lien releases, and registrations.
• Ensure documentation is completed accurately for sales contracts and financing paperwork.
• Stay informed about state/local title requirements to ensure compliance.
• Assist customers with title/registration inquiries and resolve issues.
• Coordinate with sales, finance, and state agencies to process titles timely.
• Maintain organized records for audits and reviews.
• Identify and correct discrepancies in title/registration paperwork.
