Job summary

Mitchell Buick-GMC is seeking an Automotive Title/Inventory Clerk to join a well-established, family-owned automotive dealership in Texas. The ideal candidate has experience with title processing, vehicle inventory management, and dealership paperwork, with Reynolds & Reynolds DMS knowledge considered a strong plus.

The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate clearly with clients.

Qualifications

• Experience with automotive title processing and vehicle inventory.
• Knowledge of state transportation regulations and title procedures.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; bilingual abilities preferred for diverse client interactions.

Responsibilities

• Process automotive titles and vehicle registrations efficiently; ensure paperwork complies with state regulations and dealership policies.
• Manage lifecycle of vehicle titles: issuance, transfer, registration, lien processing, trade-ins, wholesales, dealer trades, and finance documents.
• Communicate with clients to clarify documentation and provide updates on title, registration, and funding status.
• Handle inbound/outbound emails/calls for title, registration, and financing follow-up with clients.
• Process bi-weekly floorplan payments, transfers, and reflooring of new wholesale purchases.
• Post monthly floorplan interest and curtailment payments; reconcile monthly statements.
• Review and post internal charges to vehicles; perform clerical duties as needed.
