Job summary

MFA Petroleum Company seeks a Big O Sales Advisor to provide outstanding customer service and sales at our Fayetteville location. You will assist customers, promote products and services, handle warranties and service agreements, and process sales transactions with accuracy.

You will also support store operations, maintain inventory, assist with training, and ensure adherence to PPE and safety regulations while upholding company standards and policies.

Qualifications

• Age 18 years or older.
• Ability to learn new concepts and use technical materials.
• Ability to operate a computer and office productivity software.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Sales abilities.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, averages and percentages and making change.
• Ability to safely operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Monitor customer service area and host waiting customers, providing fast and friendly service.
• Handle complaints courteously and efficiently per company policy.
• Inspect vehicles and review maintenance requirements to promote needed products and services.
• Explain benefits, promote promotions and use suggestive selling techniques to increase sales.
• Prepare necessary sales documentation such as warranties and service agreements; record tire sales.
• Conduct efficient and accurate sales transactions; report discrepancies to supervisor.
• Support store operations with opening/closing tasks, inventory, sales reporting and merchandising.
• Protect assets by cleaning, maintaining, and storing tools and equipment.
• Check-in vendors, receive merchandise, and stock shelves.
• Maintain store appearance to comply with Big O Tires standards.
• Safely operate customer vehicles in service areas.
• Train new employees as needed.
• Complete required trainings including Today’s Class Technician.
