Job summary

MFA Petroleum Company is seeking Big O Sales Advisors to provide fast, friendly customer service and promote tire and auto services. The role emphasizes accurate transactions, product education, and adherence to company policies in a retail environment.

Responsibilities include handling complaints, promoting sales, processing warranties and tire registrations, stocking shelves, and assisting with store operations and training new staff.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to learn new concepts and use technical materials.
• Ability to consistently operate a computer and other office productivity machinery.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Sales abilities.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, averages and percentages and making change.
• Ability to safely operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Availability to work holidays, weekends, and after regular business hours as needed.
• Ability and willingness to work with hazardous materials.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Monitor customer service area and host waiting customers, providing fast and friendly customer service.
• Handle complaints courteously and efficiently per company policy.
• Inspect vehicles and review maintenance requirements to promote products and services.
• Promote sales through explaining benefits, implementing promotions and suggestive selling.
• Prepare warranties, service agreements, and record tire sales.
• Conduct efficient sales transactions; notify supervisor of discrepancies.
• Manage ticket average and profitability; assist store manager in meeting expectations.
• Support store operations with opening/closing tasks, inventory, and merchandising.
• Protect assets by cleaning and storing tools and equipment.
• Check-in vendors, receive merchandise, and stock shelves.
• Maintain store appearance to Big O Tires standards.
• Safely operate customer vehicles as needed.
• Train new employees as needed.
• Complete Daily Today's Class Technician training and other required trainings.
• Adhere to company policies; perform other duties as assigned.
