Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an engineer to own Thermal Controls, HVAC, and Powertrain Thermal software. You will bridge mechanical, electrical, controls, and software engineers to define roadmaps and drive feature development.

You will lead sprint planning, select hardware interfaces, and partner with controls engineers to optimize performance. Hands‑on testing, code reviews, and robust validation are expected before releases.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Software, or Systems Engineering, or equivalent.
3+ years in embedded systems, firmware integration, or systems engineering.
Strong mechatronics understanding with sensors/actuators interacting with embedded software.
Proven debugging across hardware, software, and system levels.

Responsibilities

Own and define roadmaps for thermal application software and control strategies.
Lead sprint planning and execution; manage risks early in development.
Collaborate with controls, algorithm, and cross‑functional teams to optimize system performance.
Coordinate interface requirements with suppliers and internal controls teams.
Perform hardware/bench testing and contribute to release signoff.
