Job summary

JobDiva, Inc. in Novi, MI is seeking a Design & Development Engineer - Thermal Systems to support the design, development, integration, and change management of automotive thermal systems including HVAC, PTC, piping, and other components.

You will establish physics-based requirements and collaborate with packaging and interface teams. You will own design updates, coordinate with suppliers, develop test plans, and ensure on-time delivery of engineering deliverables to support the product

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Experience working with packaging, suppliers and test teams is preferred.
Ability to establish physics-based component requirements for HVAC and piping.
Experience executing engineering changes and supplier communications.

Responsibilities

Establish physics-based component requirements for piping, HVAC, and thermal systems.
Collaborate with packaging team to align thermal system objectives.
Ensure thermal system requirements are met and tracked.
Implement design updates within the thermal system area.
Coordinate with interface teams to balance system requirements.
Process engineering changes with design/release teams.
Own and execute component changes via change management.
Maintain supplier relationships for component issues and communications.
Work with test engineers to develop test plans.
Deliver engineering outputs on time to support product development.
