Insight Global is seeking a Thermal Systems Engineer to own the end-to-end architecture of automotive thermal systems in a fast-paced development environment.

You will decompose vehicle requirements into subsystem interfaces, integrate subsystem models, and perform data-driven trade studies to guide design decisions. Collaboration with coolant, climate, and test teams is essential for success.

Qualificações

• Bachelors degree in mechanical/thermal engineering or equivalent experience required.
• 5+ years in thermal systems engineering, integration, or component development.
• Hands-on in coolant, refrigeration, climate control systems.
• Strong thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid dynamics foundations.
• Experience with system modeling tools (Matlab/Simulink, GT-SUITE) and Python.

Responsabilidades

• Define and maintain end-to-end thermal system architecture and interfaces.
• Decompose vehicle-level requirements into subsystem requirements and traceability.
• Integrate subsystem models into a unified system-level thermal model and analyze energy flow.
• Lead cross-functional issue resolution and drive corrective actions to closure.
• Collaborate with test engineers to define validation plans and correlate models to data.
