This job opportunity is for skilled and experienced military Veterans to start a career as a Kia Certified Service Technician through the Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program (VTAP), supported by Kia America, Inc.

Job Description

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles including engine, transmission, steering, suspension, brakes, HVAC, and electrical components
• Complete repair orders and warranty requests following Kia and Retailer policies
• Test drive vehicles and analyze, diagnose, and repair systems using Kia diagnostic tools
• Perform services and repairs efficiently while communicating with the shop foreman and service advisor for optimal customer experience

Requirements

• Honorable Discharge from military service
• Valid driver’s license from any state with a clean driving record
• Experience in a technical or mechanical field
• Willingness to pass drug screening and background checks
