Job summary

CJ’s Tire and Auto in Springmont, PA is seeking a trainee automotive technician to perform tire services, battery installations, oil changes, maintenance services and multi-point inspections, following established policies.

This training role focuses on gaining knowledge to work independently and become a skilled technician, while collaborating with team members and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving history.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to adapt to severe climate variances.

Responsibilities

• Performs tire services, battery installations, oil changes, maintenance services and multi-point inspections.
• Notates vehicle conditions observed.
• Performs routine maintenance and calibration of equipment.
• Works with colleagues as a team to provide exceptional customer service.
• Performs any additional duties assigned by the store Manager.
