Job summary

CJ's Tire & Automotive in Limerick, PA seeks an entry-level automotive trainee to perform tire services, oil changes, and general maintenance following company policies. This role is designed to develop skills to work independently and progress toward becoming a qualified automotive technician.

You will collaborate with teammates to deliver excellent customer service, handle routine equipment calibration, and support the store team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
• Candidates must successfully complete pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Performs tire services, battery installations, oil changes, maintenance services, and multi-point inspections noting conditions that exist on vehicles.
• Performs routine maintenance and calibration of equipment.
• Work with fellow associates as a team to provide exceptional customer service.
• Any additional duties assigned by the store Manager.

Summary of the Position:

To provide timely and error-free tire and Automotive services following established company policies and procedures. Our goal is for this trainee to gain knowledge and experience needed to work independently and become a successful automotive technician.

QualificationsExperience / Education / Other Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 18 years of age
• Have a valid drivers’ license, acceptable driving history and access to reliable transportation
• Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, and lift up to at least 50lbs, often repetitively.
• Must be able to adapt to severe climate variances.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations in a professional manner.
