Job summary

CJ’s Tire and Auto is seeking a trainee automotive technician to provide timely and accurate tire and automotive services in line with company policies. The goal is for the trainee to gain knowledge and experience to work independently and grow within the business.

You will perform tire services, battery installations, oil changes, maintenance tasks, and multi-point inspections, recording vehicle conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to adapt to severe climate variances.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations.
• Must be able to successfully complete pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Performs tire services, battery installations, oil changes, maintenance services and multi-point inspections, noting conditions on vehicles.
• Performs routine maintenance and calibration of equipment.
• Work with fellow associates as a team to provide exceptional customer service.
• Any additional duties assigned by the store Manager.
