Job summary

Monro, Inc. is seeking a Technician to perform basic vehicle diagnostics and routine maintenance across our service centers.

This full-time or part-time hourly role emphasizes accuracy, customer communication, and adherence to Monro standards and manufacturer specifications. You will complete the courtesy inspection on every guest vehicle, help manage inventory, and support store operations while wearing safety gear and following procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Automotive training or experience in basic car maintenance and repair.
• ASE certification and State Inspection license preferred.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable MVR.
• Own a basic set of tools or participate in tool program.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic vehicle diagnostics to identify repairs.
• Complete courtesy inspections on every guest vehicle and document needed services.
• Assist in inventory management, pulling tires and parts, stocking inventory.
• Assist with general store duties to maintain cleanliness and guest readiness.
• Follow safety standards including wheel torque, oil safety, and procedures.
• Test drive vehicles per policy on designated routes while obeying laws.
• Adhere to company policies, governmental standards, and OSHA/ANSI rules.
• Maintain knowledge through Monro University training modules.
• Operate and maintain equipment safely per guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
