Job summary

Monro, Inc. is seeking a Vehicle Technician to perform diagnostics and routine maintenance, delivering 5‑star guest service. The role offers a flat-rate pay structure based on experience, with opportunities to improve earnings through efficiency and skill.

This is a full-time or part-time hourly position aligned with business needs and store standards. You will conduct courtesy inspections, handle inventory support, and maintain a clean, guest-ready store environment while adhering to safety

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent requirement.
Automotive training including basic car maintenance and repair.
ASE certification and State Inspection license preferred.
Valid driver’s license and satisfactory MVR.
Own a basic set of tools or participate in tool purchase program.

Responsibilities

Perform basic vehicle diagnostics to properly identify required repairs.
Complete Monro’s Courtesy Inspection on every guest vehicle and document additional needed services.
Assist in inventory management and stocking of tires and parts.
Maintain store cleanliness and guest-ready condition.
Follow safety standards and road test policies.
Test drive vehicles per policy using designated routes.
Adhere to environmental and safety standards and company policies.
Complete Monro University training modules.
Operate and maintain equipment safely per guidelines.
Perform other duties as assigned.
