Job summary

Monro, Inc. is seeking a qualified Automotive Technician at our Fairlawn, OH location. This role offers full- or part-time hours with hourly compensation based on flat-rate performance, designed to reward experience and efficiency.

You will perform diagnostics and routine maintenance per manufacturer specs, communicate findings to guests, and uphold safety and quality standards. Monro provides benefits including paid time off, ASE certification reimbursement, and opportunities for career

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Automotive training including basic car maintenance and repair or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• ASE certification and State Inspection license (where applicable) preferred.
• Must possess a current valid driver’s license and have a satisfactory MVR.
• Must own a basic set of tools or participate in Monro’s tool purchase program.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic vehicle diagnostics to properly identify required repairs.
• Complete Monro’s Courtesy Inspection process on every guest vehicle and document/communicate additional needed services and repairs.
• Assist in inventory management including pulling tires/parts and stocking.
• Maintain store cleanliness and guest readiness to Monro standards.
• Adhere to safety standards and policies including wheel torque, oil safety, and compliance procedures.
• Test drive vehicles per policy and local laws.
• Follow company policies and environmental/OSHA standards.
• Stay current with Monro University training and equipment usage.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
