Job summary

Monro, Inc. in Baltimore, MD is hiring Automotive Technicians. The role is full-time or part-time and paid hourly on a flat-rate basis based on experience. You’ll perform basic diagnostics and routine repairs, delivering top‑notch service and communicating vehicle issues to guests.

Earn $25.00-$40.00 per hour depending on experience and productivity, with Monro supporting ASE certifications and ongoing training, plus benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Automotive training or basic car maintenance/repair experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic vehicle diagnostics to identify required repairs.
• Complete courtesy inspections on every guest vehicle and document additional needed services.
• Assist with inventory and stocking operations.
• Maintain store cleanliness and ensure guest-ready condition.
• Adhere to safety standards and Monro policies during all tasks.
• Test drive vehicles according to policy and legal requirements.
• Keep knowledge up-to-date through Monro University training modules.
• Operate and maintain equipment safely.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
