Job summary

Monro, Inc. is seeking a Technician to perform basic vehicle diagnostics and routine maintenance. This role offers flat-rate pay based on experience and is available as full-time or part-time with hourly pay as needed by the business.

You will deliver 5‑star guest service by clearly communicating vehicle issues and proposed solutions, while upholding safety standards and Monro policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Automotive training with basic car maintenance and repair experience.
• ASE certification and State Inspection license preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory MVR.
• Own a basic tool set or participate in Monro’s tool program.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic vehicle diagnostics to identify required repairs.
• Complete Monro’s Courtesy Inspection on every guest vehicle, documenting and communicating additional needed services.
• Assist in inventory management including pulling tires and parts and stocking inventory.
• Maintain store cleanliness and guest-ready condition.
• Follow safety standards including wheels, oil safety, and compliance procedures.
• Test drive vehicles per policy and local laws.
• Maintain equipment safely and in accordance with guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education
