Job summary

Monro, Inc. is seeking qualified automotive technicians in Anaheim. This full-time or part-time hourly position uses a flat-rate pay structure based on experience and task completion, with earnings ranging from $25.00 to $40.00 per hour.

Responsibilities include diagnostics, courtesy inspections, inventory support, safety compliance, and adhering to Monro standards. Benefits include paid vacation, ASE certification reimbursement, healthcare, 401k eligibility, and career advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Automotive training including basic car maintenance and repair or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
• ASE certification and State Inspection license (where applicable) preferred.
• Must possess a current valid driver’s license and have a satisfactory MVR.
• Own a basic set of tools or participate in Monro’s tool purchase program.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic vehicle diagnostics to identify required repairs.
• Complete Monro’s Courtesy Inspection process on every guest vehicle and document additional needed services and repairs; audit courtesy inspections.
• Assist in inventory management including pulling tires and parts, unloading and stocking inventory.
• Assist with general store duties to keep the store in excellent condition and guest-ready.
• Follow safety standards including wheel torque, oil safety, and compliance procedures.
• Test drive vehicles per policy, using designated routes and observing traffic laws.
• Adhere to company policies and governmental standards including environmental codes and ANSI/OSHA.
• Maintain knowledge through Monro University training modules.
• Operate and maintain equipment safely per guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
