Job summary

CarMax Boise Meridian facility is hiring a Mechanical Associate to inspect, diagnose, repair and recondition vehicles to CarMax standards of safety and reliability. You'll work with a skilled team in a climate-controlled shop, gaining hands-on experience across domestic and foreign vehicles.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and customer trust, with ongoing training and access to advanced tools. Strong communication and the ability to lift heavy objects are required; a valid driver's license

Qualifications

• Experience repairing engines, steering/suspension, brakes, and HVAC systems.
• Strong health and safety compliance knowledge.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license.
• ASE certifications in Steering & Suspension, Brakes, HVAC, Electrical, Engine Repair, and Transmission (A4, A5, A7, A6, A1, A3, A8, A2).
