Job summary

CarMax is hiring a Mechanical Associate to inspect, diagnose, repair, and recondition vehicles to meet safety and reliability standards. You will work in a climate-controlled facility, using advanced tools, with growth opportunities and ongoing training.

You'll handle engines, brakes, steering, suspension, and HVAC tasks across domestic and foreign models, while upholding EH&S guidelines and delivering a high-quality customer experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in engine repair, steering, suspension, brakes, and HVAC systems as needed.
• Strong health and safety compliance understanding.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license and ASE certifications where required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles to CarMax quality and safety standards.
