Job summary

UPS Supply Chain Solutions, Inc. is seeking a reliable Automotive Technician to join our fleet maintenance team.

You will maintain a diverse fleet, including delivery vehicles, heavy-duty tractors and trailers, across multiple propulsion systems such as diesel, gasoline, CNG, LNG, propane, hybrid, and electric where available. You should troubleshoot and service hydraulic and air brakes, electrical systems, and engine controls.

Qualifications

• Current automotive mechanical experience.
• Experience using diagnostic equipment, scan tools and personal computer.
• Possesses full complement of personal hand tools.
• Class A/B or A CDL - Preferred.
• Dependable with ability to report to work on a regular and timely basis.
• Available to work varying shifts and overtime as needed.
• Wears PPE as required.
• Works in variable conditions and environment.

Responsibilities

• Meets D.O.T requirements as per job assignment.
• Bends, stoops, squats, kneels, crouches, climbs ladders and stairs, stands and walks frequently.
• Sits infrequently during the workday.
• Uses hand grasping, power grasping and fine manipulation as needed.
• Operates standard and manual transmission.
• Operates power and pneumatic tools.
