UPS Supply Chain Solutions, Inc. is seeking an Automotive Technician to join our fleet maintenance team. The role involves servicing delivery vehicles, heavy on-road tractors and trailers from various manufacturers, with diesel, gasoline, and alternate powertrains.

You will troubleshoot hydraulic brakes, electrical systems and engine control while maintaining tools and safety standards. The position requires 2nd or 3rd shift availability, travel, and compliance with DOT and CDL requirements.

Qualifications

• Current automotive mechanical experience is required.
• Experience using diagnostic equipment and scan tools.
• Must possess a full set of personal hand tools.
• Class B CDL is REQUIRED prior to hire or to be obtained within 90 days.
• Willingness to travel for this role.

Responsibilities

• Meet D.O.T requirements and CDL qualifications for the assignment.
• Operate vehicles, lifts, and tools safely and efficiently.
• Perform routine maintenance on delivery vehicles, tractors and trailers.
• Adhere to safety protocols and wear PPE as required.
• Report to work on time and accommodate varying shifts as needed.
