Job summary

UPS is seeking a reliable Automotive Technician to join the fleet maintenance team. The role involves maintaining delivery vehicles, heavy‑duty tractors, and trailers from multiple manufacturers.

Equipment includes diesel, gasoline, and alternative propulsion systems such as CNG, LNG, propane, hybrid, and electric in some locations. The technician will troubleshoot and maintain hydraulic brakes, air brakes, electrical systems, and engine controls, while meeting DOT requirements and working

Qualifications

• Active U.S. driver’s license required.
• Willing to work second/third shifts as needed.
• Must own the necessary hand tools for the job.
• Experience with diesel, gasoline and alternative propulsion systems.

Responsibilities

• Meets DOT requirements as assigned.
• Bends, stoops, climbs and stands for long periods.
• Operates standard and manual transmissions.
• Uses power and pneumatic tools to perform maintenance.
